FUSION YOUTH (12-18)
Fusion Youth is an active ministry at Family Life - Just about every week there is an event taking place. Anything from a Friday night student-led service, to annual trips. Our primary purpose is found in Matthew 22:36-40, where we are shown the two greatest commandments. It's our prayer that through this ministry we are able to help lead students closer to God, and each other.
YOUNG ADULTS (18 & up)
Small Groups - Sunday: 6pm
The Young Adult ministry at Family Life focuses on community through weekly small groups, as well as additional events throughout the year. We believe that this age range plays a vital role in the Church Body and its reach to the surrounding communities. Our aim is to provide a safe, trustworthy place wherein a Young Adult is able to effectively grow.
KIDZ LIFE (3-11)
Sunday School: 10am
Wednesday - KIDZ CLUB: 7:30pm
KIDZ LIFE is a safe-fun place for a child to be. Our hope is that through this ministry we not only offer help to our parents, but also a time that a child genuinely looks forward to. Through foundational Bible stories and engaging worship, we're preparing the future of God's Kingdom.
Matthew 25 is a ministry by the Body, to the broken. On the first Sunday of each month a group of volunteers prepare & serve a meal, in downtown Bloomington, to those that are destitute. Also, a part of this ministry is our weekly nursing home services, which run at Garden Villa (S. Curry Pk.) as well as at Richland-Bean Blossom Healthcare Center. Lastly, Backpack Blessings is a food ministry in our local community that focuses on distributing weekly backpacks of food to area school children, bridging the gap to food-insecure homes. We're privileged to serve those that are in need through these avenues.
WITS & WISDOM (60 & up)
Wits & Wisdom is a ministry for the elderly of our church. With many socials occurring during the year, such as birthday luncheons and Christmas sing-a-longs, it's evident that this group is built on a consistent line of communication. Every week prayer requests are extended and answered through their call tree. We value the investment our elders have made in the past, as well as the involvement in our present attempt to reach out to our community.
